South End Bistro - PAWLEYS ISLAND

We really wanted to like this restaurant and support this out-of-the-way location, however, the entree was extremely disappointing. We sat outside and were surprised how cool it was compared to the current PI temps. Server was super friendly and brought us drinks quickly. She offered a featured item and was well versed on the standard menu. We both ordered Filet and Shrimp $38). All was good BUT BOTH OF THE FILETS WERE SO TOUGH/CHEWY WE QUESTIONED IF THEY WERE REAL

This place is fantastic. Best pizza on the Grand Strand. And the wings are very good too. Good beer selection and great staff make this a wonderful place. Plus the outside area is great for live music and fun.

4 stars since I give it a 5 for live music/atmosphere and 3 for food. Burgers and pizza are what you want if you eat here. Other entrees were not so good.

I?m so sorry i never post reviews, ever but this was the worst food i?ve ever had. I just paid $27 for Chicken Alfredo that tasted like watery noodles with frozen unseasoned chicken. We got a chicken cheesesteak sandwich that had no flavor whatsoever. Even the ranch we got with the wings tasted watered down. I work in a restaurant so i hate to being writing this but when you work hard for your money and decide to eat out it?s was just very disappointing that I couldn?t even

Great food. Love the atmosphere. Live music is too notch.
