Authentic location and delicious home made food. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Absolutely recommend it if you are visiting Pavia.

I wish I’d checked Trip Advisor before we visited, but the menu looked good and the place was full, which we took as a good sign. Our waiter was very friendly but a little overworked as it took quite some time before our order was taken, but then the food came out quickly…. Perhaps too quickly. My starter was trout with veges and mayo. The trout was dry and lacking in flavour. If you mixed it all together, it wasn’t too bad, and it was a generous serving, and compared to the main, was “ok”. My main was ravioli stuffed with eggplant, served with tomatoes and olives. Well …… we all know that eggplant on it’s own doesn’t have much flavour so a wafer thin slice encased in pasta, served with no sauce, no spices and nothing but a few strips of steamed tomato, it’s hardly a recipe for success.

Really nice place on the pavia river. excellent dishes and good cellar of the territory. attentive and helpful staff.
