Brasserie d'Orleans - Pau

I loved this place I felt it was a real French brassiere full of locals. Very interesting good food and the cook would like to be part of the service. Book to avoid disappointment.

It started when I called the night before and although closed, Chef Festino answered the phone and accepted our reservation for lunch the next day, It sat down with the warmth and excellent service of his only front of the housemate while he was a... culinary ballet solo behind the glass in this great Pau bistro of about 40 seats. In was a joy to observe his rest and care as he prepares every single duck and dish and dessert for everyone in a full house. My steactars were raised. A bit tart, a bit, a bit tangy, a bit sweet, without feeling of rohem beed, but the care in how the cut from which it was made treated. Elegant. I had simple Oeuf Mayonnaise to begin with crispy bacon decoration. Best devilled eggs ever.

This beautiful little bistro found near Place de Verdun parking. The food was delicious, nicely prepared and present and the service was excellent — very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Midi formula for about 13 euros with flat dessert and coffee entrance. Quick service with smile. good cooking: ex at noon: omelette with very well-stocked ceps, brandade of cod (excellent) with cod pie and salad, cream burnt, coffee: it was my choice among other dishes...I have enjoyed it.Waited it lasts!!
