Really, it's just 15 minutes walk from centro when you knew where you were going, but a $2.00 taxi fare will find it much easier. The area is called Los Nogales and this restaurant is located behind the Patzcuaro RV Park. This is said... what you will find on arrival is quite nothing more than a crack in the woods with a terrace with about 6 or 7 tables, rrickety on it, with unsurpassed chairs. And then the magic begins! They are welcomed by the owner and staff with open arms and said that it is buffet style, everything you eat and drink for 150 pesos (approximately $8.00 U.S. ...generated mimosas are served while quiet conversations are made in this environmentally friendly environment. (There is no Wi-Fi, thank God. A buffet table is furnished with Mexican favorites, and there was lasagna and a fresh fruit salad for those who are not up to local cuisine. My group of 4 loved all Entrees. On other days, the kitchen could be Mediterranean, or the wood fired pizza oven can be baked. I was told if you make a reservation, they will make you what you want. Phone number is 434-130-2529 to discuss your meal. Open only on Wednesday to Sunday from Noon until 5 pm. We had coffee later, but were offered more mimosas, and were brought mini pieces by Key Lime which were outrageously good. I've always wondered where the stuff comes from? I mean, it's a tiny hole in the wall of a place amidst the magnificent nature, but obviously, good food comes from people, and not just places. You can also buy some of the homemade sauces and other items from the Deli . As we found the place was through a local page on Facebook. Very pleasing and relaxing in a rush-free environment where you are greeted with a smile.
