Hoshi Hibachi Sushi - Patchogue

Be careful! they have taken care of everything! does everything that Hibachi/pan cooked is not vegan and limited options on avocado/cumber roll or steamed tofu asks to use oil instead of butter to cook the teriyaki tofu and they refused. could understand that. but I then asked if I at least tereyaki or any sauce on the side for simple steamed tofu that she told me was my only option and barely cooked sweet that it came and was also said no. the tofu also tasted very raw. the yaki udon/soba, terriyaki tofu, hibachi rice, vegetables and everything cooked on the herd and grill are not vegan friendly. they also call the clear suppe (the chicken broth has) miso suppe when they come with a group for hibachi. when I ordered the mistsuppet, they brought me a clear suppe, which I did not realize until then that I was served chicken broth. overall very uncomoding and tasteless

I really enjoy this restaurant. The hibachi dishes are always fresh and delicious. The service is excellent too. I like the cozy and dim atmosphere inside.

This restaurant is absolutely disgusting. I ordered a Sapporo on tap and my beer came with a nickel-sized black mass and about 20 maggots floating in it. Definitely not worth even one star.

The sushi at this restaurant is truly fantastic. I have tried many places on Long Island in search of a wide selection of fresh fish, but I always find myself returning here. I cannot say enough good things about it.
