I ordered the beef tacos, and while they were decent, I was disappointed with the tortillas. Since we're so close to the border, I expected more authentic tortillas rather than ones that seemed store-bought. However, the rice was excellent.
I dined in for dinner and found the experience quite satisfying. The price per person was reasonable, falling between $10 and $20. Food: 5/5 - Everything was delicious! Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. Service: 5/5 - The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Atmosphere: 4/5 - The ambiance was pleasant, making for a cozy dining experience, though there’s a little room for improvement. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dinner.
I had never tried vegetarian Machaca before, so we decided to order it. It turned out to be a combination of eggs, beans, and tortillas, with just a small amount of sautéed onions and peppers. At $15.00 for this dish, it seemed like a hefty profit margin. Unfortunately, we couldn’t inquire if something was missing because we never saw our waitress. Overall ratings: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 3.
I had an impromptu lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious special at this charming little restaurant in town.
We ordered wraps to go and were informed it would take 15 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, we inquired about our wraps and found out they had been sitting there waiting for the waitress to bring them to us. I can’t really complain about the service since there didn’t seem to be anyone around. The wraps were just average. The turkey wrap contained fatty, low-quality lunch meat that didn't taste much like turkey. It's clear now why the restaurant was empty on a Saturday at noon, while the ice cream shop just a few meters away was bustling!
