What a nice surprise to have a service that was professional and friendly! The food is wonderful. Another great surprise! Pasto is not just a “destination city”, but this restaurant is worthy! Super atmosphere with a wide selection of appetizers, entrées, desserts and wine! Everything for a very decent price and an excellent value. I travel the world and eat and try everything I can, and I'd put it in my Top 10.
This restaurant was a surprise. When an employee invited me to this restaurant, I didn't expect so much, overall because it looks like a family house not a restaurant, but as soon as I tasted the paella it comes to me the Spanish mistakes and I imagine sitting in a good Spanish carrier with lunch. So recommended. Only a recommendation, the wine menu is so limited and for this food should contain Spanish and Italian wines.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here and were happy to taste some local specialties. The Llalpingachos starter was great, they are like potato cakes with cheese inside. You are a local specialty in Pasto. In this restaurant they come with roasted corn, fresh tomatoes, onions and salad with a small dressing and pork ribs. The whole thing was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the seafood special of the restaurant, and I had the Corvina a La Vela or something. My fish was perfectly boiled, and the coconut sauce was delicately flavored and went perfectly with the fish. The shrimps on my plate were also perfectly spiced, but were somewhat overcooked and rubbery. My husband had slightly overcooked the same problem with the shrimps on his plate. As seafood seems to be the speciality of this place, it was disappointing. He believed, however, that everything on his plate was well seasoned, and the crab gratin was excellent. That was the highlight of his record. The French fries who came with his meals were a little strange, they are somehow ho hum for a chic place special dish, and were covered in a huge bunch of carrot strings. It was a little strange distracting on a dish where the seafood should be the star. The Hervidos we had after dinner were nice and well made with fresh Llo. Overall we had a nice dinner, but there were only a few things we wanted this place to go better.
After visiting many restaurants in Pasto, we were happy to find this place as it combines the modern Colombian cuisine of Andean and coastal region, mixed with international flavors. As a result, you can enjoy a lot of seafood in a different way as you were used to. We also liked the service, beautiful waiters (as almost everywhere in Colombia) and they are also quite fast. You have to say that it is not a cheap restaurant, but it is worth trying, we had a very good experience in Sausalito. And don't forget to try Islas Flotantes, just a perfect dessert.
One of the best pasture restaurants, the entrance sushi is one of so specialities, ideal for business lunch and/or family.Very well located in the city of pasto, offers specialty of fish and seafood. Its menu is constantly renewed, much innovation and exotic and pleasant flavors.
