This time, we celebrated my sister’s birthday here, and I must say the place consistently delivers in terms of food, service, and ambiance. However, the experience could be enhanced if they offered free or paid Wi-Fi, as the reception in the area is not great. There’s a piso-Wi-Fi available at the store across the street, though. Beautiful view of the shore. Clean and nice native bamboo decor. Food was great! The seafood was freshly cooked. Service was quick and friendly. Reasonable price. My dining experience at Melkens Short Call by BALARIN in Silay was delightful. The crab, blue marlin, and shrimp were exquisite, complemented perfectly by the stunning view. However, the presence of mosquitos was a bit of a distraction from the otherwise wonderful meal. Despite this, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. Service: Dine in
Every time we go back home to Negros, we make it a point to eat at Melkens. Parking can be challenging, but it's always worth the wait. The seafood is consistently fresh and delicious. Our favorite dishes include calamares, sinigang manumbok, buttered shrimp, sizzling sisig, and stuffed squid. The ambiance is okay but can be a little hot, so just ask the waiter to put on an electric fan. Highly recommend this place for seafood lovers. 5 stars! Service: Dine in
