Paso Terra - Paso Robles

Absolutely delicious food, impeccable attention to detail, fresh tasty from scratches and stellar customer service, very personal attention to every customer, beautiful indoor and outdoor atmosphere; the busy cook even had time to visit every table and chat with us; French-trained cook that creates the most delicious meals; will definitely return when I am in town!! Very recommended!

Paso Terra was a small, intimate and charming place. The small extra touch made this culinary experience an unforgettable experience. The culinary art of the chef tasted delicious and looked wonderful as you can see from the pictures. His artistic flair also expanded on canvas. His paintings decorated the walls and added vivid splashes of color. An absolute must for a culinary experience in Paso Robles.

Wow, that was a waste of an evening! We sat at a table with 2 used water glasses we had to move. The server fell from two small laughing pleasures; I don't know what they were because she dropped her and ran away. The appetizers were stuffed and escargot. The squid was like rubber and the escargot was delicious, but the sauce was very watery. For the net we had a mixed seafood plate and paella. Both were very disappointing, Bland, and the Paella lacked some cripple. Definitely won?t back after poor food and service.

I'll never return to this restaurant. We arrived at 8:10 and when we entered the door, a waitress was a table and said something about how we just missed the rush and then turned and went to the kitchen. The kitchen door remained open and another woman gave us a fucking look and came to us. We expect to be great, but instead she saw us up and down, then the kitchen told us closed. My son said that was disappointing, and she grabbed him and said something Snotty. It looked like several tables just took place, so we obviously were not the right kind of cartridges. If she had been polite, I would never have left such a review, but I have never been treated so badly. Too bad the three of us found another restaurant and $250 plus a generous tip for our waitress and bartender. I've only looked at some of the other reviews, and apparently we're not the only ones that were regarded as unfitting males. I'm glad we took our money elsewhere.

3.5 to 4 stars. Good food but fairly traditional surf and turf options if flavorful. The florescent lights killed the mood and the indoor seating seemed close and loud. Hosts were very friendly
