Otherwise, the experience was amazing. Jjapchae (I really can't spell Korean food) was amazing -- not salty like in other restaurants. Ribs w/cheese was UHMMM... UHMMAZING! Order the ribs and cheese set and it will change the way you see Korean BBQ. They also have instructions on how to cook the food perfectly. Followed it to the dot and tadaa! Like it was done by a pro! It's just a bit too expensive though.
Food: 2.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Cost: 2/5 Service: 5/5 Overhyped!!! Nothing new. It's just like Sariwon Korean Barbecue or Soban K-Town Grill rebranded
Customer service is on point! Servers were attentive and very proactive! Interiors of the place is relaxing and great! As for the food, well, all I can say is the portion is good and I left the place with my tummy full and satisfied. Ordered Dakgogi Cheese Bbq for 620p and it was "sulit"! Cheese dip actually is okay, nothing extraordinary but everything was superb! Side dishes were also delicious! The Kimchi cheese lava was good but is not memorable. Kimbap is not made properly as the rice is not sticky enough for me to eat it in one piece. Still, even with some slight lapses I can still consider this place as one worth for the money dining experience. Will recommend the place for sure! Again, kudos to the customer service! :)
I love Korean food! I ate dinner at this restaurant with my friends on a Friday night. I made a reservation to avoid long lines. The place was full that time. We were 3 only but we decided to have their group meal. It's sulit compared to a la carte. For 2k, we had cheesy kimchi rice, grilled chicken with cheese, set of samgyupsal, set of woosamgyup, pajeon and the usual side dishes. The servings are big and good for sharing. We weren't able to finish some of the food. I love their pajeon and samgyupsal. The soy garlic samgyupsal is flavorful. So yummy! You must order it! The cheesy kimchi rice and grilled chicken with cheese (is this dal galbi?) are just okay. I think id love it if it's spicy. The side dishes are refillable. The service was excellent too ????????
Food:???????????????? 4/5 Ambiance: ???????????????? 4/5 Cost: ???????????? 3/5 Service:???????????? 3/5 Volcano kimchi rice was good; but the prep was lack luster. The cheese was supposedly melting hot when the rice was divided before mixing. It was supposedly one of the highlights or features of the restaurant. The egg pizza as I call it was phenomenal, well cooked. I recommend to pick the fruit marinated beef vs the traditional one. It slightly sweeter and flavorful. I would have preferred the "potato chips" hot. Very clean, also very tight when the sizzling cart rolls in. The furnishings show Korean themed village and the light fixtures strengthen the ambiance. Cost for four people was fair. You can't call it as bang for you buck. Service was also fair quick the first part of the dining experience but when you get served 50% of the food you ordered it does slow down. Recommend going here 30-45 mins before peak. Overall good experience, however can still make the dining experience better
