Ramen Cool - Pasig

The food is affordable and the interior/exterior is appealing. Even if there is nothing special about the food, it is still worth a try! Me and my family eats here frequently. What made me give this restaurant a low rating was because I was surprised to see that about 2-4 waiters were sleeping (yes, they were lying down on the chairs) in the small private area and it was very unprofessional.

Another Japanese place in the food capital, Kapitolyo. Place looks luxurious from the outside, kinda intimidating, but prices were quite affordable. There's just a little unpleasant smell when you enter the resto. Wide choices of Japanese food to choose from.Our orders: Nabayake Ramen(285php),sweet and tangy, with prawns, mushrooms and vegetables. I like this. Too sweet for my bf's taste thought.Pork Shuyoramen (205php)is soy based. Bland,topped with a lot of chashu which somehow compensated the taste. Overall experience was okay. Food was mediocre. Servers were fine and again, prices aren't as steep as other Japanese restos.

Ambience is a 4 - nice lighting, cozy interiors, Japanese pop music, free Wi-Fi! Service is a 3 - there were only 2 of us and halfway through taking our order the server inattentively asks whether we were 3 diners... how come? so weird. anyway, the girl also didn't know what Japanese mayo was (?) Food is a 3 - value for money I guess, flavors are on the bland side of bursting, quite decent for the uninitiated in Japanese dining... i'd say upscale Tokyo Tokyo or Teriyaki Boy. Takeaway - you come here for the budget and half the boldness of authentic Japanese flavors

Reasonably priced set meals. Nothing special about the food especially the ramen. I had better instant mami honestly but again, set meals are reasonably priced.
