Best ensaymada that I've ever had! Had this giant ensaymada with salted egg. Their bread and pastries selection is not that pricey. But this one is my favorite!

We've been here at The Lobby Cafe of Richmonde Hotel Ortigas for their Christmas Tree Lighting last December 2014. Together with this event, they also launched their Christmas Holiday Goodies. If you are a fan of breads and other pastries, The Lobby Cafe is a must-try especially when you are on Ortigas, Mandaluyong City. This review will be about their December Christmas Holiday Goodies and my experience at the Lobby Cafe. ✔ Place/Service - The Lobby Cafe at Richmonde Hotel Ortigas is actually a place to kill some time while you are at the hotel premises. But even you are not checked-in at the hotel, it will be a good place to enjoy the ambiance, have some coffee and enjoy their wide variety of pastries. Attentive staffs are there to serve. ✔ Food - I had a chance to taste most of their Christmas Holiday Goodies pastries available. Everything is a must-try! I have my favorite pastries that really catches my sweet-tooth. The Nutty Fudge Square and the Cinnamon Donuts are my most fave of all of them. If you are a fan of bread, their Turtle Cheesecake is a must-try too. For the bread which is always available whatever the season is, their Ensaymada is a must-try. Overflowing cheese! ✔ Price - Assorted breads Price range from Php 180.00 - 285.00 while the cakes are Php400.00 above. It's quite affordable and will surely wont regret cause their pastries are really good. Talk about bread and pastries that will leave your mouth watery and asking for more.  Bread and pastries that defy the usual convention of the things we know.  What about a peppermint flavored cake or a cake that taste so wonderful you will never realize what hit you?  Well these are just some of the adjectives that I would like to use to describe the menu at Lobby Cafe located at Richmonde Hotel Ortigas. When we went there for a blogging event we were given the chance to taste all of their products including their specialty cakes for Christmas.  The resident chef herself gave us a brief tour of the place from the conceptualization of the products, how each is made and how it ends up in the cafe and in the hands of their clients. The most popular among the menu is the Richmonde Ensaymada.  Popular perhaps because Filipinos generally love Ensaymada and this one comes with eye catching cheese since it is really overflowing.   The Pork Floss was also very tasty and can compete with other places which offers this one. The Lobby Cafe is not only a place for your usual stop and go places but also a place were you can order their specialty and pick them up.  This one is ideal for those who want to share the good food to their friends and clients.
