They ALWAYS have the best selection of goodies in the Mercantile, from chocolate covered Oreos to salt water taffy! Best place to bring the kids and take a breather! Entry fees $10.95/person +tax Mon-Fri, Saturday and Sunday $11.95/person +tax
Country market with confectioneries, canned/jar goods, fresh fruits, ice cream counter, sandwiches and drinks. Given the exorbitant price (per pound) for the sweets and the fact that the majority of items for sale are from elsewhere this place is apure money grab. The sandwiches are moderately priced however.
Whaaaaaaat!? This place is AMAZING! I'm not surprised it was packed...yet I am... it's a 30 minute drive from my house and there were easily 70 people in there ordering lunch and milling about. Where in the world did they come from?
Lots of fruit/vegetables. More chocolate varieties than imaginable. Great deli and ice cream. Well worth the stopping for. Have kiddy rides but were not operating when I was there.
