Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Pasadena

The service at this restaurant is consistently good. I used to love this place, but a few months ago I decided to try a cranberry smoothie and it tasted strange to me at first, so I assumed it was just that particular taste. However, I waited a while before trying it again. Today, I ordered the Paradise dish that I had enjoyed in the past, but this time it had a bizarre taste that seemed to overshadow every other flavor.

The smoothies at this restaurant are fantastic. However, I was not a fan of the side salad with kale and carrots. The portion sizes are small but the flavors are delicious. The packaging is not the best quality, so I recommend transferring the wrap ingredients to a more secure container to fully enjoy the flavors. That's why I am giving this place 4 stars.

We waited for more than 20 minutes in the car for two smoothies. There were no customers inside and we only saw the 3 employees running around. When we finally received the smoothies, they lacked any flavor and left a powdery residue on the back.

They are not for din in even tho their lists says so, and the place smells like a miserable cheese. I never ordered because I left right away. I wanted to go in.

I have never been to one of these and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty with quality ingredients, great flavor, and decent value. Ordering on the app was extremely helpful and fast. Excellent crew. Definitely coming back.
