Ruth's Chris Steak House - Pasadena

Started off great. Reservations for a birthday. Table decorated and personalized menu. After food was brought, they never came back until we were done. Cold veggies and poor table maintenance. Dirty dishes sat for 10 mins. Steaks brought out on small plates that you could not fit side dishes on. I had no steak knife and had to hunt down a server asst to help. Manager tried to make it right when I gave feedback.

Calamari was soggy and chewy, steak house salad was very skimpy with only 2-3 half cherry tomato's and basic mixed greens. Steak was full of fat and very plainly seasoned even ordering medium cook it was still nearly raw, lobster Mac and cheese was ok but lobster was fishy, fully loaded baked potato was basic I've had better. When you spend $400 for 3 people you'd hope to be amazed by the food. Unfortunately this fell way short. However, staff were friendly and professional. The dining area was extremely dark, almost like they don't want you to see the food. I'm happy we can scratch this off the list and never go back.

SUCH an amazing experience at Ruth's Chris! The food is delicious but we definitely keep coming back for the impeccable service. Our servers Julia, Brandon, and Katie provided my boyfriend an excellent first time dining experience for his birthday! Truly gratefully, highly recommend, and will be dining again soon!

My family and I came to Ruth's to celebrate a milestone birthday this past Wednesday and we were awestruck at the attention to detail, and the quality of the service and food! The customized menu with my husband's name on it was a sweet gesture (which we kept! and our server Hugo was first-rate. He tended to our needs at just the right time and made us feel like the only patrons present. The food arrived in a timely manner and the waitstaff masterfully prepared and arranged the meal at our table. We will definitely return to once again experience top-notch service and quality food.

The food wasn't as good as in the past. Maybe less salt used or ?? The music was a bit annoying, too loud and odd mix. The server and other staff were fine and attentive enough. We're less inclined to come back. Higher prices and the taste wasn't as good.
