Rodney's Ribs Food Truck - Pasadena

Was told the wait would be 30 minutes. I figured since the reviews said the food was good Id wait thirty minutes. After 35 minutes Was told 10 more minutes. After 10 more minutes the food was still not ready. We were just told soon.Since we were waiting in a hot parking lot it made the wait feel even longer but I would like to have been told that the wait would be an hour in the first place.The worst part was that after the hour wait I was told I couldnt get what I wanted and needed to order something else. I feel I cant give an honest review of the food itself because waiting for an hour in the heat and then receiving bad service , it makes the food taste worse.

I ordered the Brisket Plate which comes with brisket, bread and 1 side order. I selected the potato salad. Everything was really good. The food took a while to come out. Otherwise I would give 5 stars. Excellent BBQ sauce on the brisket!

Rodney's Ribs is outstanding. If I could give him 10 stars I would. The ribs are always tender, juicy, flavorful and super meaty. He never skimps on the portions. I've tried all the sides and they're all wonderful, taste homemade. Rodney is always super friendly and you can tell he puts his heart and soul into his food. Highly recommend!!

I was in the area and i saw the bbq truck .. Decided to listen to the reviews but i guess i cant rely on them this time .. there was some flavor but the ribs barely had bbq sauce.. im pretty sure he squirted charcoal lighter fluid all over them too. Potato salad was okay but the mac and cheese was dry mush mush, i scooped it and it was just breaking apart and the bread was.. bread.. id rather not again, sorry rodney gotta keep it 100 .. -reviewed by the husband (the bbq connoisseur)

Hey Rod it’s Alex, the ribs and brisket were f ng bomb!I’m glad I Finally had a chance to stop by and try it! The brisket was perfectly juicy, soft, and tender. The ribs were soft and just came right off the bone ?! I’m often smoking ribs and Tri-tip at home, so I don’t typically like getting smoked bbq from anywhere else because I know what Home-smoked done right tastes like.Now that I’ve tried your truck, I know where to get good barbecue that tastes better than at home. ?? will definitely recommend to friends and family!
