Madeline Garden Bistro Venue - Pasadena

Would not recommend for a casual tea. The space seems to be geared toward parties and private events, as they seemed uninterested in our business as a party of two. We ordered a pot of tea, which was nice, and an order of two small scones, a couple savory tea sandwiches, and a few sweets. All told, we were charged $80—exorbitant for the experience. Perhaps they are more accommodating and reasonably priced for larger groups.

The location in Pasadena is convenient and free street parking was easy to find. The afternoon tea was really nice. The food was tasty and the display was perfect. We came on a Sunday and opted for outdoor seating in the courtyard. There was live guitar music for indoor seating, so it felt very romantic. Make sure you make a reservation especially during the weekend.

We made reservations for a birthday party of 9 on Sunday. This was my first time at high tea. I was there for the experience. For a beginner, this is a great venue to start. What a lovely brunch! My boyfriend took me here, and I really enjoyed the fact that there’s a live harpist! Such a quaint restaurant in a historic building that Einstein worked in. We had a bridal shower here. All the food was delicious!! Every dish received compliments and the staff was very kind and helpful. I recommend it 100%. Everyone in our party had such a blessed time.
