Fresh Thai - Pasadena

This restaurant is conveniently located near my workplace, so I decided to give it a try. The staff were friendly, but that’s where the positives end. I ordered a small container of pad Thai along with a can of soda, which cost me $17.99. Unfortunately, the chicken in the pad Thai was pre-cooked and quite dry, and there was no hint of peanut flavor whatsoever. Despite it being a Friday lunch hour, the place was surprisingly not very busy.

This little restaurant is exceptional! The flavors are incredibly good. The roti is perfect, the yellow curry is delicious, and the basil meat is fantastic. I'm planning to order the mango sticky rice next. It's so good that I'm writing this review before I've even finished my meal. Thumbs up all around!

A charming little Thai restaurant located close to our home. The atmosphere is simple and clean, though there's limited seating, which didn't matter since we ordered takeout. They offer a wide selection of lunch specials at reasonable prices. We tried the pad thai, beef panang, cashew nut chicken, and chicken basil. Each special comes with an egg roll, salad, and your choice of brown or white rice. The portion sizes were quite reasonable. My spicy basil chicken was delicious and had a nice kick (medium level) in a generous serving. Overall, I enjoyed the lunch special and plan to return.

I love their Tom Kha soup, rhoti, and mango dessert!! Favorite Thai place in Pasadena.
