Aikan Sushi Ramen - Pasadena

I would give Aikan Sushi Restaurant a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. The food seemed promising at first, but unfortunately, my boyfriend and I both felt unwell after eating there.

I'm usually cautious about all-you-can-eat sushi places, but Aikan Sushi Ramen completely won me over with their impressive selection of over 10 keto-friendly sushi and sashimi options. They truly delivered on every aspect! Finding parking was easy, with plenty of street options and nearby public lots. Our appetites were quickly satisfied as the dishes started arriving shortly after we ordered. I was especially impressed by the freshness of the fish and the delicious side dishes. The entire experience was surprisingly affordable at just under $60, including tax and tip. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, and I can't wait to try their ramen once I'm back on carbs! Definitely a 5/5!

As many others have mentioned, this is definitely one of the better all-you-can-eat sushi spots. However, the quality can be inconsistent. During my last two visits, everything was quite good. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit last week, the salmon was outstanding, but everything else was below average. I was also looking forward to trying the salmon or yellowtail collar, but I noticed they have removed those items from the menu.

Make sure to put your name on the waitlist first, as weekends usually have a wait time of 1 to 2 hours. Once seated, you can enjoy a 2-hour dining experience with three rounds of orders. Everything we ordered was quite good. We particularly loved the squid and salmon sushi. The ramen was also impressive, featuring chashu and soft-boiled eggs. The seared salmon roll was a highlight as well. We left feeling very satisfied and pleasantly full. Overall, I would rate the food a 4.9 out of 5.

The sushi here is of decent quality. Prices have increased significantly lately, making it less of a value compared to before, but it remains a good option for sushi.
