Delicious food! 4 of us had lunch here and we all had a fantastic meal. Portion sizes were large and everything was very fresh!
We've been here for years. (See my review from 2017 . It was a popular restaurant for us and for many of the locals. What a difference this year. We were here at 12 noon, and there were only four people who sat us both and another table of two. We were all visitors. (We talked to the other two. Throughout the time we were not another person came to the restaurant. In recent years there have been many diners, some of which are locals. Not anymore. One of our favorite dishes here were liver and onions. This is no longer in the menu. Our server said that was one of the most popular articles and did not know why the new cook took it from the menu. My husband ordered fish and I ordered a hamburger with sweet potatoes. His fish consisted of two small pieces of fish on a plate full of pommes. My sweet potato fries were a little soggy. The hamburger was boiled and dried. How can anyone call a cook if he can't even cook a hamburger? In the past, we were happy to come to Britt to eat at the restaurant. Typically there would have eaten several meals during our stay. I asked for a dinner menu. There were really no meals. It was more like bar food pizza, burgers, fish and chips, appetizers. Needless to say, we decided not to eat there for dinner.
I was amazed by her breakfast and dinner options after dinner there several times. French toast and two egg breakfasts met my needs. My Burger dinner was quite delicious, although the burger drops with more juice than I would prefer....Prices were reasonable and the overall service was decent. The only unfortunate note is that I think they were a little short staff for every visit that made it a little more difficult for them to maintain with our big group.
Great views, good service, tasty food, Killer dirty martinis! St. Amani is a quaint waterfront village. Worth the slight detour off 400.
