Jolly Roger Restaurant Bar, Parry Sound

While my daughter was visiting, we thought we'd stop in to check out the Jolly Rodger. While we were there, we had the pleasure of meeting with the owner. It was really great talking with him about some of the changes he's been making and what else he has in store for the place. We decided to take the 4 wheelers he has for rent, out for a ride. While we were choosing our packages, he was so accommodating and gracious. His hospitality and service really made it such a great time for us. Having the 4 wheeler trail go through the property made it really convenient to head out and have a great time. Since then, we have been returning regularly. All of the staff we've dealt with have been so friendly and really go the extra mile to make sure our visits are enjoyable. In the restaurant they have something for everyone throughout the week. Wing night, sea food night, ladies night and more. Our favorite night so far is wing night. The deal is just really great and every time the wings have been perfectly on point. The service has been absolutely wonderful every time as well. It really feels inviting and comfortable while we're there. With all the Jolly Rodger has to offer, we're looking forward to enjoying many of their amenities. I really feel like this place will continue to improve which is very welcoming to the area. There really is something for everyone..... and more !!!!!

My husband and I decided we wanted to check out a different a restaurant for breakfast on Oct 27th. After he googled all restaurants in Parry Sound area, Jolly Rogers came, and we hit the highway heading to Jolly Rogers. Customer service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious and our plates were full and just for the records they give you little potatoes which we liked.We also had great conversation with lots of laughs with the 2 gentlemen that worked the restaurant that morning. We will ever go back.... Absolutely Next time we'll bring our in laws P.S. We didn't use the hotel rooms as we only drove there for breakfast from Carling Township area.

It was a good stay. I spent just one night. Room was ok with all basic facilities. Restaurant manager owner Anu were too good. Overall service was good, kids friendly. Morning breakfast was too cold so that was bit disappointed . But rest was fine. I enjoyed the location, surroundings, Halloween celebration. I will definitely revisit this place for new year night. Such an amazing place to stay, very peaceful. Clean rooms, amazing vibe and ambience. Absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures to post. Just a small suggestion, it would be great if you could add more hot breakfast options. Thanks Service: 5

Enjoyed my stay here very much. Staff at front desk very nice. I picked one of the recently renovated rooms (109) and was quite impressed with the quality of retrofit. Great shower head water spray and shower drained well so you're not standing in a tub filled with water. AC worked well, wifi was great. Mini fridge was much appreciated but did make some odd noises while in cooling mode. Outdoor pool looked clean and inviting though I didn't use it cause of cool water. There is also an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Only negatives about my stay were the free morning breakfast had no hot food items and waffle batter was mixed too thick. Result was a waffle done well on outside but raw in the centre. Inedible. Liked that there was a restaurant on site. Ate there one of two evenings. Culinary and beer selection was limited. Guessing that summer tourist was ending and fall/ winter season hadn't picked up yet. Wings I had were excellent but chicken tenders I ordered for take out were over down. I like them crispy but they were too much even for my taste. Wonderful location easily accessible from the highway and close to Parry Sound and best prices in the area. I was in the area on my motorcycle to ride the twisty roads of which there are many but some sections are quite rough. Too early for fall colours and definitely do the Island Queen cruise. The Jolly Roger Inn makes for a great home base. I definitely intend to stay there again when I'm in the area or passing through!
