Winter Park for last several years, I always look for the welcoming comfort and diversity of the menu regardless of the season. The wine selection is exquisite and the pasta dishes, steaks, fresh seafood and specials only enhance the experience. Kudos to Shelby the wine guru and chef that takes the daily and makes you crave seconds. Adventures Decanted sets the bar for Winter Park dining, ski apres and everyday good vibes. Oh yeah.. the special wine dinner are a must (typically invite only and last dinner had fresh truffles and wine makers in the house that just flew in from Italy)
This place gets a 5 star across the board. This was the last stop to close out of my birthday celebration visit and this put the icing on the cake for the experience. The food was phenomenal my gf had the steak I had the oxtail pasta we even had a chance to speak w/ the chef as well as the owner… the atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming. We’re from Atlanta and this place would most def thrive in the city back at home. If we visit again we’ll be sure to give this place another go around no hesitation. No to mention our server was beyond amazing w/ frequent check ins and what not. Overall this place gave us what we was looking for. Oh yea and the drinks are 10/10
What an unhinged experience. Came here to celebrate our engagement with my fiancé’s parents and it was an utter disappointment. Hostess mentioned our engagement but not one peep from our server.Food — gigante beans and beet appetizers tasted like they were canned. Short ribs and papardelle were both actually alright, but lacked any depth of flavor. Tagine was an undercooked disgrace.Service — our server clearly had no clue what she was doing. Had no idea how to operate her ticket device to take orders. Unbelievably, she asked how we wanted the tagine and short rib cooked, as if they were steaks? We didn’t get extra plates for everyone even though we ordered shareables. The worst self-serve wine dispenser imaginable and insanely overpriced.Atmosphere — the most chaotic dining room I’ve ever seen. Decor was all over the place, with disconcerting flashing neon signs and nauseating scented candles. Our corner was in almost complete darkness, others were super bright. Like the worst decorations Kohl’s had to offer. This place is probably a fun spot to grab (overpriced) wine with your friends, but don’t waste your time or money on a meal.
We have been going to Adventures Decanted regularly since it opened, and it is the best! The food, wine, service, and cocktails are always excellent. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner here in May. The team did such an amazing job creating a unique experience for our guests complete with a beautiful charcuterie grazing station with pressed flowers and champagne sabering for the bride and groom. We loved creating a unique and fun menu with them from start to finish. Our guests still rave about our rehearsal dinner. Can’t recommend enough for your next event!
Awesome wine selection, especially for a ski town. The food is also spectacular and the owner is super nice and helpful!
