Ivory restaurant & Tantra bar - Mantra Parramatta

Quiet night happy hour drinks food was fine staff was very helpful. Shame about the hotel policy on deposits but staff were good.

Had to be at a function at 7 PM on a Wednesday so had dinner here at the Mantra Very nice food quick and friendly service I ordered a steak Medium Came out perfect with a Red wine Jus and a very tasty salad Not just the usual limp lettuce and carrot shavings Partner had battered fish and chips Batter was light and fluffy chips however were french fries so not as nice as chips but I stole some to mop up my Jus and they were tasty

Waitstaff friendly and attentive with attention to detail and the added bonus of having them remember you and your tastes from night to night. Two of the staff were particularly efficient. Joyal Thomas and his offsider Vishal were particular standouts and were constantly busy and attentive. Great work guys. You made my stay enjoyable. The food was always excellent and having tried everything on the mains menu can vouch for each dish. I was not disappointed.

The food we received was fine, but choice on menu is limited. eg no pasta. However, we would have had dessert and second drinks if they had been offered. The waiter seemed to be busy with the bar as well as the restaurant. Certainly not a gourmet restaurant but adequate.

We ate their two nights because he food was so good. Great tasty and fresh. The prices are reasonable. Wine is a bit on the expensive side. However the service was terrible. e ordered a bottle a wine and it was delivered to the table. No tasting, no pouring !!!! So we did it ourselves. BTW this is illegal under the liquor Act.
