At first, I didn 't think there was an inside because of how the location looks but you just have to go through a gate and around their food truck and the entrance is right there. It is small inside but they do have chairs and tables, the staff didn 't speak much English and I don 't speak much Spanish but we made it work. I ordered a yo tamales with carnitas and the yo part means it is topped with cheese, sour cream, salsa, and pico (definitely recommend the loaded option). I also ordered some tacos but I was so full from that one tamale that I ended up giving them away (and was kinda sad about that because they looked bomb af). My friend had a chicken yo tamale and ordered a veggie and cheese w/chili one for later. If you can 't catch their food truck, I would highly recommend making the drive to their location and picking up a dozen of those tamales.
SO slow. Roughly 45 min for the food. Crazy slow. At a Sac Republic game and got to it 15 min before the game started. Currently sitting at 24 min after it started and just got our food. If you would actually like to attend the game, do not buy your food here. Buyer beware.
Had food from their food truck at the Airshow yesterday and it was very disappointing. Hubby had the pastor burrito $16) and the meat was SO over cooked it was almost like jerky! The rest of the burrito was decent, but the meat was horrible. I had a cheese tamale plate and the tamale was mostly all masa, and the small amount of cheese inside was so rubbery that I couldn't even cut it with the plastic fork they gave me! The rice and beans were good, but when I am paying $16 for a tamale, I expect it to be at least somewhat edible. Sadly this one was really bad. We won't be wasting any more money here, it just was not good specially for the price.
Was at music in the park and decided to order a chicken tamale, unfortunately I was given vegetarian. Still good, but I do miss my order. Salsa is good.
I've had them before and it was amazing, recently while waiting for my business partners I seen the truck. I went to order and the man was clearly having a bad day, very rude, claimed to not speak English. Funny, he spoke perfect English to the Caucasian man behind me, these people are a bit different. I'll try them again but be warned.
