From the first moment you step in that place the personel give you a pleasant feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a kind place to pass time with buddies or with your date. very good cooking, skillful chief cook and stuff, good pay and courteous service. Highly recommended.
My first time here today 9/1/2021 1pm i got pork belly with garlic rice and it was good. The guy who took my order was nice also
Another update: Going to James Fiesta Grill is now part of my Friday reworking routine. As soon as I get into the car, I drive the restaurant and place a delivery of my favorites — Lechon kawali food with extra sauce and pork pancit bihon. I also occasionally order the special Halo-Halo. The one who answers the phone is always friendly and friendly. He needs the time to repeat what I say to make sure he has the order right. My order is ready when I tell them I'll pick it up. I highly recommend calling after your order, as there are times when they receive a large catering order. Updated review: came by today, two weeks after my first visit here. This time I ordered Pancit Bihon with pork for $7.95, 9 pieces Lumpia Shanghai for $ 4.50, Lechon Kawali Meal $10.95 and special Halo $5.95 . The Pancit Bihon was really delicious! However, Lumpia Shanghai was a disappointment. The lumps were very thin and tiny that I couldn't even taste what was wrapped in it. It almost tasted like I'm just eating a deep fried lump pack. The Lechon kawali is still my favorite comfort food. And the Halo-Halo meets this hot and humid summer day. Original Review: I just visited James Fiesta Grill because it was next to the small Filipino grocery store where I went to Taro roots for my Tamarind soup. This restaurant is certainly one of those “hole on the wall” places. You go to a small dining area with four small tables. The ambience leaves much to be desired. Look past and you will notice that the place is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered Pancit Palabok $8.95, Lechon Kawali Meal $10.95 and special Halo $5.95. The food is only made when you order it. Be ready to wait for a while, but it is definitely worth it. The Palabok was so delicious that I had to stop eating the whole thing at a meeting! Lechon was cooked directly with the crispy pork skin and chewing meat. I didn't even add salt. The Halo-Halo had so many ingredients in that it could be a complete meal, all by itself. The generous portions of Palabok and Lechon could easily satisfy two people. I am sooo glad to have found this place and I would definitely come back and try the other foods in the menu.
One of the best Filipino spots in DMV area. Good food. Appropriately expensive. Unpredictable atmosphere. This is not your chic fusion restaurant, but simply home cooked meals. Note that it is a self-service operation. Do not expect employees to float over you and your needs.
