Cedars Lounge - Parksville

The food, service, and decor of this newly opened restaurant are absolutely fantastic. We ordered the fish and chips, chicken wings, ribs, fries, and avocado salad, all of which were gluten-free, delicious, and fresh. The portions were generous. We left feeling very satisfied!

The staff demonstrated a thorough understanding of the ingredients used in the dishes and informed us that the Executive Chef has personal experience with Celiac disease in his family. Although they do not have a separate area specifically for preparing food for individuals with Celiac disease, they ensure that the cooking space is cleaned thoroughly and generally minimize the use of gluten in their recipes.

I had the beef dip, which was priced at $28. We dined outside and enjoyed the lovely weather. I think it could have benefitted from a bit more cheese and onions, but overall it was a pretty decent sandwich. Thank you! Also, I appreciate the wasp deterrents you had set up around the area!

No seniors menu and not too happy to provide a 1/2 order without letting us know it was a big deal to accommodate. The Eggs Benny we ordered was the worst Eggs Benny I've ever had...I've sat out on their deck a number of times and quite enjoyed the food and service there. Perhaps they're a better lunch supper, restaurant. Certainly wouldn't recommend it for breakfast.

Had a fantastic dinner experience! The restaurant is beautiful, and tonight's special was local halibut, which was the best I've ever tasted. It was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The menu offers plenty of other great choices as well. For dessert, we tried the peanut butter pie, and it was delicious. Bruno provided excellent service throughout our meal!
