Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe came here for the Wednesday quiz night so we enjoyed our meals in the front bar. The meals came a little slow but considering the amount of orders the kitchen did well. The food was yummy, your typical no fuss pub grub.
Visited recently for a quick meal and decided we couldn't go past the schnitzel for dinner. The portion was more than adequate even though I chose the small size and it was tasty, as was the mushroom sauce I decide to have with it. The side salad was nice too with olive, feta and radish but the chips were ok and not overly crunchy. Prices on the higher end but the lovely warm wood open fire that was burning and the cosy, warm charm of the place helped me look past this. Popular with locals, book early to avoid not getting a table.
Now, let's talk about the schnitzels. It's no secret that the main reason I come here is for the schnitzels. They are known for their top-notch quality schnitzels, and they certainly live up to the reputation. I always go for the 600g schnitzels since I have a big appetite. They also offer 300g schnitzels for those with lighter appetites. The Italian and Chorizo flavors are my favorites, both bursting with delicious taste and quality. You definitely leave feeling satisfied. Just be aware that if the restaurant is busy, your order may take some time. Our order did take a while, but not as long as we expected. The only downside is that the schnitzels are a bit pricey. I can go to another pub and get a 600g schnitzel for cheaper. However, if you don't mind paying a little extra for great quality schnitzels with tasty toppings, then this place is worth a visit. Overall, I would give it an 8 out of 10.
Go for the schnitzels. Went for lunch, huge servings, nicely crumbed, not oily all hot and fresh, partner got the ribs and they were ok,salad bar nice and fresh, would go back for the schnitzels for sure.Gravys and toppings were good too.
The Earl of Leicester offers quality pub food with large portions. The porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce and vegetables was delicious. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't substitute chips for vegetables without paying extra. Despite this, my meal was enjoyable and the rest of my party also enjoyed their dishes, particularly the generous parmigiana servings. The bistro has a slightly dated ambiance, but the bustling atmosphere makes up for it. I would consider returning when I am in Adelaide again.
