A - Parklands, Lyme Dr, Stoke-on-Trent

Booked a anniversary meal and had confirmation email of booking. Arrived to find restaurant closed! They made no effort to let me know they couldn't honour my booking. My evening was ruined! I think their customer service is discussing!

Not my kind of restaurant. The food is overpriced for what it is, it's certainly not poor, in fact I would say it is pretty tasty, but you can get a smiliar quality of food elsewhere at a more reasonable price.Their main focus is the presentation and atmosphere. When I went they had a young lady playing the grand piano which was a nice touch. They are also somehwat lacking in vegetarian or vegan options.I can see why people would enjoy Yu-Ma-Mi but I would recommend elsewhere for more authentic food.

Brilliant standard of food. Good service, and well worth a visit.

We were so well looked after and the atmosphere at Yu-Ma-Mi was warm and welcoming. It was an additional bonus that the pianist created a mellow ambience that accompanied our meal beautifully. We were not sure about how it would work out with the children as there were no specific children’s facilities or menu but we needn’t have worried because the host had plenty of ideas and created a wonderful menu for us by adapting our choice of the seasonal set menu to include lots of child friendly dishes. The restaurant visit was a pre- birthday treat for the eldest granddaughter and she absolutely loved the chicken satay starter and the chicken, ginger and spring onion. We would recommend this restaurant. It was a pleasure to dine there.28-02-2020. 5/5
