The Cocktail - Parkersburg

Went for the first time for girls night and it was honestly the best food and drinks I have ever had in my entire life!!! Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend the drink mountain mama and the chicken bowtie pasta.

I came for the menu that is posted on Facebook, so when I arrived tonight, I expected baked Bie and a Red Snapper entree. Neither was on the menu, and when I asked, the waitress said they updated it 3 weeks ago. I think if a business updates it's menu, it should update it online and on social media. Instead, I ordered the Margherita flatbread pizza, which was terrible as the crust was sogged down by pizza sauce. In fact, the sauce overwhelmed the cheese and minced basil.The atmosphere and service was fair, and I enjoyed the jazz, but I probably won't come again.

Recently moved to the area from West Coast and had company visiting in from out of town, so we were frantically looking for somewhere unique to take them. We absolutely hit the jackpot with The Cocktail Bar! Great and clean atmosphere, amazing staff who took the time to explain the unique drinks we ordered as they made them. Dottie, who was our mixologist, was so friendly and fun to order from and explained step by step every dribk we ordered. It was the best old-fashion I have ever had. This is definitely a place to visit, and prices were reasonable. We will definitely always stop here whenever we have friends and family visiting.

My husband and I spent Valentine’s Day celebrating at The Cocktail Bar and it did NOT disappoint. It’s a rare occasion for us to get out these day having 4 kids so we wanted to really make it count. The service was absolutely perfect. Our server Dottie was so sweet and stayed on top of it all! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and we savored every bite! We highly recommend coming here for any occasion big or small. You will not regret it! You can tell the owner takes great pride in what he’s created here! 10/10

Best place to go when you want to get out in the town. Super food, fun atmosphere !
