Bob Evans - Parkersburg

I had a few issues with this particular Bob Evans location. While everything else was fine, the young man who seated me looked like he had just come from working in the field. His hat was dirty, his hair was long and unkempt, and his clothes were not in good condition. The coffee cup they served my coffee in was so stained that it appeared to have never been washed, and the silverware was dull and looked very old. As someone who is old-fashioned and has worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years, this lack of attention to cleanliness was concerning to me. When I mentioned the issue with the coffee cup to the waitress, she explained that they only soak them once a month and also have stains from tea on the glasses. This experience has made me hesitant to return to this restaurant when there are cleaner options available. It seems like maybe since Bob Evans passed away, the quality of care has gone downhill. Hopefully, the company will take notice of this review and make some improvements.

The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic! I truly enjoy dining here every time.

I have dined at this restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal. Whether it's breakfast or dinner, the staff is friendly and the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend the dinner bell country fried steak with mashed potatoes, green beans, and your choice of bread.

Waited 55 minutes for our food, which arrived cold. The chicken sandwich was extremely overcooked and inedible. However, the waitress provided great service. Thankfully, they comped the entire bill. I believe they should hire cooks with better cooking and timing skills.
