They will substitute tofu in any item, my favorite thing is to get the “mojo bowl” at least I think that’s what it’s called, sub in tofu, side of edamame, side of peanut sauce, and side of eel sauce. Put the edamame in it after I peel it and mix it all together with the sauces. It’s a great protein packed option if you are looking to find something edible that is vegetarian it does contain eggs but I’m okay with eating eggs.Great teas too.Only downside is the chairs on the inside are mostly thin made-of-plastic “chairs” which is not very inviting for winter temps, and uncomfortable to sit on for long. Try to find a booth if you plan on eating inside. There are a few padded seats but mostly cold hard plastic chairs.
Not sure what’s going on here. There’s literally no veggies in one of the bowls the other has a million edamame and the egg is supposed to be scrambled. It looks like my egg is green and maybe like half of an egg. For paying almost $30 for this it’s not good quality at all.Food: 1/5
I walked in for a simple order today and there was no one in line ahead of me and just two people enjoying their meal. I thought this is great and should not have any issues with order or time getting it. Boy was I wrong. I looked right at the young lady and said “I’ll go Big” with the white chicken bowl with peas and green onions! How hard is that? I get home and it’s a small bowl with no peas!I know I should have checked and that’s on me but …. How hard of an order was that? I would have never expected a problem but should have known when they were too busy talking to each other instead of focusing on their job while I waited!!! Check your order even if it’s simple!!!!!!
I ordered online from this location, and stupidly they only allow 2 toppings on a bowl (add-ons). This is preposterous and I didn 't even want tokyo joe 's anymore after this foolishness. Their cookies look ugly as hell and taste chunky and unappetizing like they 've been sitting out on a cold counter surrounded by flies for the past week. Tokyo Joe 's tries to uphold healthy japanese cuisine, however the vibe that I got was highly caloric americanized salads that tried to be asian. The workers packaged my food expertly and with elegance, however, the new rule supporting bland bowls lacking the diversity of having crunchy onion, avocado, egg, etc. is absolutely unacceptable.
The food is pretty good. It has crept in price so it is close to cost of much nicer restaurants. We still hit this location typically when we are heading back to Monument from the Denver airport and take Parker Rd most of the way.Food: 4/5
