Starbucks - Park Ridge

A new rule has been implemented at this restaurant stating that males under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult to sit inside after 6:00 PM. This rule is seen as disrespectful and unethical, as teenagers under 18 years old are a significant source of revenue for the restaurant. With school ending at 3:00 PM, this rule essentially excludes teens from the city, despite being a key demographic for the restaurant. The behavior of the workers is also disappointing, as they are rude and constantly surveilling and whispering about young patrons to prevent them from entering. This lack of professionalism is troubling.

We were required to show proof of Covid vaccination in order to be seated at the restaurant. My friend did not have a valid personal or medical reason for not being vaccinated, so we were asked to simply get drinks and leave. I found this policy unacceptable.

There are always at least 5 employees working, but the service is consistently slow.

One of my favorite SB locations. Nice local ambience and very festive around the holidays. You'll see a lot of local folk here, so it has a really cozy and warm feeling that goes well with a sip of coffee!

Good staff, typical menu, corner-location, comfortable interior, open 5 a.m 7:30 p.m., daily.
