Sadly my daughter and I had the misfortune of visiting this patisserie for a quick dinner that we could take back to the hotel room before we headed to see the light show at the Eiffel Tower. Daughter had a simple ham sandwich. I ordered the quiche Lorraine which tasted fine when I ate it but I woke up violently ill from every orifice at 3 am. Had to catch an early flight of out of Orly so barely able to stand and board the plane. When I returned to the states, I still felt off many weeks later. Apparently contracted some form or parasite(s) and required antibiotics to clear. In addition, I do speak French and while I was waiting the servers were talking about me in French - I listened to every word - they were speaking about putting older tomatoes on my daughters sandwich and when I looked up and made eye contact, one hissed at the other "Elle connais Francais" - essentially, she speaks French. Yes I do. So they tossed the older sliced tomatoes aside and placed fresh ones on her sandwich. Should have walked out then but did not - certainly will not hesitate to walk if treated in this manner in future - it would have saved my trip and my health if I had.
To die for pastries, this small hole in the wall was so amazingFresh beautiful pastries throughout the dayFriendly staff.
Very good bread. Patisserie not extraordinary but acceptable. Nice staff.
Excellent baguettes cooked with wood fire, a real treat. Very good Viennese factories too. the pies are good like the white cheese cake that I am more reserved on pastries and peat (gold sides,.) , a little heavy, fat and with too much crust.
Delicious chocolate breads, but Viennese chocolate cakes too dry
