Przekaż informację zwrotnąI was a big fan of this restaurant when I was working on a bet until 2011, I went back to it today and I would probably have to read the recent reviews before. The restaurant was dramatically empty at 12:30 last, and I didn't watch the rates before entering. What a price increase! It's far from inflation! the sashimi were cut to the axe, yet the fish cut is an integral part of a good sashimi. The mackerel had received I don't know what (bad) treatment, but it was half cooked on the underside (:I took a menu 15 sashimi to 26€ but those underneath was so small that it represented just 9 sashimi. And the rice was not Japanese at all, long grain rice thrown in bulk in a bowl.The chef was alone without waitress and did everything. a priori he was bored, because he spent his time doing the 100 steps behind me in the tiny room, which is pretty stressful. The only very positive point is that the leader is very kind and attentive. short a more than mixed experience, I'm not sure to go back to it again.
With the smile and all the charm of the japon, the chef prepares you sashimis, sushi and tekamaki so good that the space for a few moments, the setting and the ambience helping, you will believe in a small sushi bar at the end of the japon. extraordinaryly simple and good, however, the experience proved a little expensive.
I've been there two times, but the first time was a year ago, so I'm gonna talk about yesterday. So I ordered a shakedon and maki otoro ciboulette (I don't remember the exact name anymore) So I started with the maki that were really good, very scented, with first hand a wasabi homemade (not like the wasabi green fluo, all hard that we find in most restaurants.) then arrived the shakedon, and as it is a dish that I often took in the other restaurants. And, frankly, it's still a stadium above what is done in most of the neighborhood's restaurants. the salmon was very melting, the rice was cooked to perfection with I imagine a special vinegar to give it that particular flavor. It's something else than rice in which we pour sweet soy sauce. even the small pieces of nori (dried seaweed) had good taste. So certainly it's a little expensive (I got off for 44€ with the 6 maki otoro shakedon green tea) but frankly, it was so good that it was worth them. (and then the price of the other restaurants, in the evening, is not necessarily much cheaper if we go by the)It's on that I won't eat there every day, but if I can come there once a month, I think I wouldn't hesitate to make this fun. So, by reading the negative reviews, I'm puzzled because ok we can grind on the price (but all prices are displayed in the window and on the menu) but the quality of the fish (in any case the otoro and salmon I took) is above the lot of many other restaurants in the neighborhood. Maybe some went there a bad day. We don't go to this restaurant for the deco (or if you like the traditional Japanese echoppe side), or for the atmosphere (it's very/too quiet), but we go there to enjoy its taste buds, to eat delicious dishes, well above what we usually find.
