Hell No !It's just what it should be, a simple, authentic and "no bull***" real Parisian café. The ones that used to be all around the city before the Starbucks invasion and the attack of "self infatuated men with facial hair riding fixies"...Jokes aside, it's a place with a great atmosphere, you'll always be welcome, you'll drink good beer and wine and enjoy very good food. Go for the special of the day, you'll be surprised how good it is.A place worth a visit if you want to get away from tourist traps and enjoy a taste of actual Parisian life.
Great location not far from Place de la Concorde. Try the Mojito! Reasonably priced. Excellent food and service.
We visited this bar from our hotel nearby. It has a great atmosphere and offers happy hour on drinks between 17:00 - 20:00. The drinks are still good value outside these hours. We ate here on our last night, having burgers - very tasty! The staff are very friendly and you are able to sit outside and have a drink.
Nice atmosphere, nice food, friendly staff, near main street.. Deep house music.. Should visit.. Try cheese assortment, pepper steak..
We went to paris for my wife's birthday. We had always wanted to go and we weren't disappointed. What a fantastic and enchanting city. We just didn't have enough time. My advice if you're going for a short stay is plan ahead. Decide on what you really want to see and then cut the list in half. One important factor before you go, make sure you get a Paris Pass. I know they are a little expensive at €105 but believe me they are worth every penny. Firstly they give you access to almost everything you want to visit. More importantly the pass allows you to bypass the queues. Even in February some queues were unbelievable. It was really great to walk straight in and not have to queue. You have to see the most famous landmarks in the world. The Eiffel Tower, l'arc de triomphe, le Louvre. Even if you have no interest in art you just have to make a visit to Le Musee Louvre One of the few places the pass does not cover is Le Tour Eiffel. Be sure to go online well before u go and secure a pass to the top level. It again allows you to bypass the long queues and the view from the top is spectacular. If you're at all interested Le Musee Grevin is well worth a visit. It is Paris' version of Mdme Toussauds and it's included in the pass. Also included is a one or two day pass for the Hop on Hop off bus. Another must as you can take a tour of the main attractions in the city. You can decide which ones to visit and when to hop on or off the bus. Take the complete tour first, it's worth it. A trip along the Seine is part of the hop on experience and the joining point is below the bridge where the Eiffel Tower is, so you can plan in advance. Don't be afraid to try some if the smaller restaurants in the outer arrondissements. The stories Of food in Paris are all true. Magnifique!Whatever you decide to do or wherever you decide to visit just relax and enjoy one of the worlds truly magnificent cities.
