A homely restaurant run by a couple. Husband cooks in a open kitchen and wife serve the food and takes orders. Food is fresh and made to order. The home made noodles in sesame sauce is good.
We had lunch at Shan gout last summer. On the plus side: good fried ravioli, not too greasy. Beef was tasty. On the down side: our waitress was not helpful at all, she would not explain any dish and she seemed interested only in giving...details about their wines we do not drink wine. The chef was extremely rude, he rushed out of the kitchen to yell at us not to play with our chopsticks, it felt surreal! So we ate our lunch and will never set foot there again.
I had read the disappointing comments but as a friend invunted me there, I was there with that friend last week for dinner: NOTHING Chinese In what kind of Chinese restaurant are you proposed a starter-main dish-desert kind of meal?? No sharing?? But more...importantly, food was not acceptable to even average standards: overcooked, hard to chew and big-chunked meat, burned caramel with the so-called braised aubergines, poorly dressed spicy sour cabagge... A big failure!
Pas de bière, pas de desserts pour ce soir, interdit de payer avec ticket de resto pour le soir... et..... le serveur(chef de cuisine??) était très désagréable... pas de souris, mais rien de rien.... pour les gens qui disent c'est trop bon les plats.. mais vous pouvez aller dans un supermarché asiatique pour acheter les mêmes sauces... ça serait exactement pareil... aucun effort....
