Then you are welcomed by the waiters and you know you'll have a good time. Service is simply excellent. Courteous, warm and efficient at the same time. Then the food itself: it is very authentic cuisine. Not what you get at every chinese restaurant in Paris. Peppered beef, caramel pork and soft catfish are some of the dishes you'll taste with the home made special menu. try this discovery menu it is very generous and not too expensive 22€. My family had a lovely evening at this place and even though my wife is not fond of chinese food she really had a good time. So try this restaurant and the special menu from rhe chef.
The place and its decoration are extremely simple, cheap tables, chairs and decoration ... but most important is the food which is excellent, there is a menu proposed by the very friendly owner which is very generous in quantity and with very different flavors and tasty dishes. This is place is really surprising and I have to admit that first time I was invited I had negative apriori that disappeared immediately because the sincere friendliness of the owner and it definitely became big satisfaction because of the very tasty and creative food which ally traditional cooking with fresh tasty product .... I became a real fan of this very affordable restaurant which I have to say is rather away from touristic place in Paris
Looking for a great chinese in paris, we get here browsing the web. Tried a menù, completely disappointing. Oil onions and peppers in all dishes, and everything with the same taste. Sorry to say that the fried aubergines were disgusting!
I've lived in the Bay Area for 35 years and have been trying out Chinese restaurants for longer than that. I recently bought a Paris apartment and a good friend in Paris suggested we eat here. He's a Bay Area native too. He said it was "really good." I was skeptical. Having had a flat in London for 17 years without finding any exceptional Chinese, I had concluded that Europe just doesn't "get it." Boom. There goes that theory. This place may be the best I've ever had outside of Hong Kong or Singapore. And maybe even better than that. The flavors are fresh, bright, and nuanced. No gloppy cornstarch. Except for one slight misstep (sweet and sour stuck too close to the cliche), everything (on two occasions) was fabulous. Let them bring you what they like. I'd trust them with my stomach. Fabulous. And very reasonable. Location is nothing special. The proprietor is special and speaks great English.
There's gloopy 'Cantonese' food to be found all over Paris: it sits out on trays in a display cabinate, you order it, it is microwaved before your very eyes. This place is something quite different. They set the tone with crazy good steamed peanuts when you arrive. What follows is full of flavour and surprises. So good I bought their cookbook.May be a bit violently foreign for some ;)
