The staff were welcoming and friendly and spoke English which helped. The food was okay but lacked any heat which was surprising especially the Vindaloo! Whilst the rice portions were a good size, the main dishes were quite small in comparison to the rice and to what we see in the UK. The one thing that was so wrong was having to use the same cutlery for our main as we used for our starter I will never understand why restaurants do this, I find it quite unpleasant and unnecessary. I’m sure it cannot be that difficult to provide a second set of clean cutlery! We will likely try another Indian restaurant at our next visit to Paris to see if it is better.
My wife and I came here on our last day in Paris to eat some spicier food than traditional French food offers. The service was quick, attentive, and helpful to our needs (and bad French). The food was hot and spicy as Indian food should be; I could have had more spice, but my wife thought it was perfect. After the first bite of our samosas we knew we made the right choice to come eat.
If punjabi restaurant don't know how to cook Dal Makhani or Yellow Dal that means they don't know anything in punjabi food... they make yellow dal makhani which is not dal tadka nor dal makhni....seriously worst food ever ate... not at all recommend. In cheese nan u need magnifying glass to search cheese.
I ordered chicken and roti naan, it was good, Pakodas (onion) were little oily but I was very hungry. I asked for 1-2 pieces of onions which I was refused politely. no probs. Else was a decent lunch.
