The owner is incredibly warm and wonderful, service was excellent, and the dishes (all vegan) were absolutely delicious. they make the tofu house made of organic soybeans, and the nuds are also made in the house!
I will visit this restaurant too. I had jagdgrill and dandan tofu noodles. they are both very tasty. I'm not vegetarian, but this is a very good experience. I was very full, but on very clean and fresh wise.
Forget the deco. This place is unique. Tofu focus. Gluten free. Mostly organic. Flavours are pretty unique. The boss is Laotian. her wife is Chinese. Good fusion food. You must try dumpling soup with seaweed. Dom Dom noodles are great too.
We are always on the lookout for good vegetarian options in Paris and this one was a real hit. Despite the rather limited opening hours we found the quality to be very good. Toutofu (literally everything with Tofu) was opened about a year ago...by a nice Chinese/Laotian couple in a rather distant part of the city. It is quite far on the 18th, though there is a metro station not far from their place. It 's kind of a mix between a full blown sit down restaurant and a 'traiteur '. As the name implies, everything there is made of or with Tofu. They have some dishes on the menu which are prepared upon order, and some others which are already made, ready for takeaway. We tried a couple of noodles dishes. One of them was from home made egg noodles (I think). Both were excellent, though the home made one was especially good. Their home made tofu which comes with all dishes is soft and silky and you can also take it home with you. They also server some kind of soy juice (hot or cold) which we tried and wasn 't a huge hit... It 's actually regular soy milk (though home made). Decor is very simple and the place is tiny (much like its strange opening hours). It 's important to say that the place isn 't Vegan but vegetarian.
