Maison Blanche - Paris

Very good restaurant, with quality service. But if there's an elem that you should remember, that's the view. I don't know any more beautiful views in Paris!

Fantastic location to celebrate special occasions. The view on the Eiffel Tower, by night, is just wow.

I share with you this little moment of culinary delectation that occurred in this restaurant a good time ago and that has yet remained in my memory. If you go there, first of all, ask the Montaigne terrace which overlooks the avenue of the same name, otherwise you will be on the terrace that is above the ventilation pipes on the other side and really there, the charm does not work. The dishes were delicious, really. Despite the years I remember an asparagus-based entry. You're going to tell me "asparagus, nothing more ordinary." Well, I wouldn't answer you because there is an art that only some masters master to turn a pumpkin into a masterpiece. It is like a painting: there is that of Uncle Marcel on Sunday and an Raphaël in infinite genius. The meal was simply magical at each bite. No noise at our table was heard. We enjoyed each, with delectation, our different dishes trying to guess the nuances, the hidden ingredients giving all these aromas. In vain, despite assumptions, we had not discovered the secrets. And this gustative mystery was the subject of a game of devinettes until dessert. The view is amazing especially at sunset. We are not accustomed to this kind of establishment, hence our wonder, but it was for an exceptional family occasion. Nevertheless, we are very demanding in what can please our palace. I don’t know if this return of experience will decide you to go, but you should not be disappointed. But be careful, it is very expensive. An experience to live at least once in his life.

We chose to eat at Maison Blanche for the two breakfasts we were in Paris. Located across the street from Gare du Nord and near any number of hotels (we were in the Ibis Styles a few buildings away) it is in a convenient location for a bite before starting your day in the city. We opted for the breakfast with Omelette, bread, Croissant, fruit juice and fruit cup. With ham and cheese in the omelette the cost was 11.50 Euros. Service was excellent and out waiter same both mornings treated the boys very well. While our hotel offered a meagre breakfast we opted for something more substantial to power us through the day.The only issue we had was the issue we had with all restaurants we ate at -- people smoke at the sidewalk tables which are right next to the inside tables. The only way to almost escape the smoke is to sit deep inside the building and miss out on the streetscape and then you still get the smoke depending on the wind/
