Steak was tender and cooked well but only came with potatoes, no salad. Total bill was €40 for a steak, tomato soup, wine and an oringina which I thought was a bit steep but then I 'm used to Wetherspoons! Lol. Average prices for Paris though.
We randomly picked up ' 'La Petite Rotonde ' '. We chose beef bourguignon tender veal. No starters or dessert. It tasted like traditional home cooking . Reasonably priced. Service was slow. Waiter did not speak English; However he offered 1 bottle of cold tab water at no cost.
In an area dominated by creperies it was a relief to find an informal lively bistrot with prompt efficient and friendly service and food of good quality to match. Easy to follow menu with lots of options and daily plats that were traditional but tasted great. No fuss service and a nice friendly atmosphere.
Morning coffee, it was nice to sit and watch the world of montparnasse go by. Would recommend, quite expensive but no more than the others in the area
We went there in the afternoon for a hot drink, so this opinion does not concern the restoration. Good reception, efficient service. Irish coffee is generously dried and old excellent chocolate
