LA POPINA - Paris

Very nice bar in the busy Oberkampf area! you will have many choices to go out in this district of Paris, quite famous for its night-life but very few has such feel-good atmosphere as La Popina. Pretty decoration and super friendly staff... A great place to have a good time with your friends

Nice service with tasty bruschetta's, people watching on Rue St. Maur and when the party starts you go downstairs to the basement....

Stumbled across this little gem on our way somewhere else and ended up staying for the entire evening. Helped by the fact it was a beautiful Paris Sept evening my wife and I enjoyed several drinks from a wide ranging beer/wine menu and mingled with a mixed crowd. Ideal for the younger generation looking for a night out and equally so for the more mature couple, this really is worth a visit, live music downstairs in the basement, it really caters for all social crowds. Having spoken with one of the owners (Edwin) it appears they are also looking to extend their food menu, so may well become a place for a nice lunchtime/early evening snack in the near future. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are over from Brussels.

Endroit parfait pour venir boire du bon vin et grignoter des mezzes entre potes! La musique est top, le personnel est super cool, un grand merci à Edwin pour cette super soirée!!!On a fait la fête jusqu'à la fermeture dans une ambiance de folieeee! Je recommande vivement! (J'y retourne déjà la semaine pro :) )

Relativement habitués et connaissant bien le quartier nous y sommes retournés récemment, happy hour avec bouteille et saucisson pour 15e nous séduit toujours autant. Service disponible et agréable Deco sympa et bon mood musical. Toujours un plaisir de venir à la popina
