La Bascule - Paris

Great. very local feeling. good and service was excellent. I had chicken-sweetbleu. linda had herbal tapas.

We came over this bar and restaurant near our hotel in montmartre. it is set back from the main street of the eating farms, it was not disappointed. very friendly and the personal knew how to host. excellent selection of wines and cocktails. customers were a relatiw young and local crowd to create a good atmosphere. simple tapas dishes made very good, but also some very good main plates. we enjoyed eating, drinking and making the hospitality available.

Was in paris for the rugby, called for a drink and eaten here. when england lost the staff, we gave a free shot around. eating was excellent and something different. we had a couple of tapas court and I...has the pork with cauliflower would definitely again be excellent eating with a twist and very friendly staff

Our friend who lives in the neighbourhood recommended La Bascule and it simply never disappoints. A cozy bar/restaurant that is slightly off the beaten path filled with locals. It's unpretentious, serves great food, and is truly a place you want to simply unwind and hangout....Plus, it is family friendly. If you go, try the Mont d'Or (served hot with roasted baby potatoes) amazing!

I don't know if local people hang out here, but i felt like a real french man, enjoying a good wine, with a nice smelly cheese. A bit pricey but totally worth it
