The staff is very friendly and willing to speak English to explain the menu. The food was just perfect we had raviolis, foie gras and melted marcellin as starters. All good. As main a lamb shank and steak both of which were delicious. For desert we had chocolate cake and crème brûlée. Food great, staff friendly and good ambiance.
I'm so in love with this restaurant, I'm gonna come in definitiv when I'm in paris. I brought my 11-year-old son here to paris our last dinner before she returned to the states, and she did not disappoint! the waiting staff was immediately warm and welcoming, and our server, ludovic (I hope I spell this right, was absolutely wonderful. for appetizers we ordered the escargot and homemade ravioli that were both delicious. seriously, the ravioli made me appreciate something happy. for our main course we ordered the black kink and the duck breast that were both amazing. I had hoped that an amazing French culinary experience ended our journey and this place is delivered! and I can't say enough about the waiting staff. they were so warm and friendly, very sweet about my lack of French language skills and made our experience really the best we had so far in paris. (and honestly, ladys, ludovic is as tasty as eating, so if they want something added sweet with their meal, they come out this place. If I weren't gone tomorrow, I'd come back for him and eat.
The food was absolutely delicious! Very quaint hole-in-the-wall that felt very cozy. We had the sweet potato and fish of the day and it was outstanding!
Booked online for a table and when arrived the very nice waitress knew our booking. The restaurant is up a quiet road and inside painted red with dark wood furniture. It was rustic decor. The food is the star here. Our starters were amazing a duck fois gras which came with lots of bread which is a bonus for me as I never get enough, the bread was top notch too as was the caramelized shallots. For mains I had a t-bone veal steak which just melted in my mouth and the crushed potatoes were nice and buttery. My partner had the black Angus steak which was again great. For dessert we both had a very nice creme brulee. This place is worth the trip and the food is excellent.
Absolutely fabulous. Would recommend to any who would listen. Meal was incredible, service impeccable and wine delectable.
