Beach Buns Burgers - Paraparaumu

We always have the best time at Toasted Monkey! Darlene was behind the bar and also served us at our table. We love that she remembered us... and our drink orders. She was absolutely amazing! The environment is so fun... and the entertainment is always fabulous!

If you are not a local you may opt out of going on a holiday but DON'T. You may think it will be way to crowded and hot but it is not. The service was unbelievable. Staff was continuously clearing plates, empty cups, napkins etc. It was always someone available to get more cocktails, ice, water etc. The food was good for a Sports Bar. It was elevated to casual dining level. IT WAS THE RITE CROWD NOT OVERCROWDED. They have live music and 22N rocked the house. They have a open area in front of the band for dancing. Parking can be tricky but hey we don't live in a perfect world. Catching Uber is recommended

While I totally FORGOT to take food pix we loved it here. The vibe, the food, and our amazing server Carina!! I had the Texas Burger and my wife had the Chicken Bowl. Both were awesome. Our experience was probably a little different than most as it was cold, windy, and slow.... But that made the conversation slower and more enjoyable... as well as giving us a little bit more time to discuss food selections with Carina. She is just the best that's all I've got to say! Way to go Carina with your food suggestions : what a totally enjoyable evening! I imagine this place is slammed when the weather is good, so the next time the weather Isn't good.... COME HERE TO EAT AND HANG OUT!

We loved being so close to the water and being able to eat outside. Service was a little slow but that's to be expected during spring break. Highly recommend the Caribbean Mama drink, the smash burgers, and any of their grouper! Being from Michigan we loved any time we can eat outside and watch the sunset!

The season is already in full swing and this place was rocking. We were coming here to see a local band and when they canceled we stayed for dinner. I'm on the beach so why not have the usual...Grouper Sandwich. It was blackened, good size and great flavor. I picked the side of black beans rice and there was plenty and had great flavor. The band was amazing and the outside bar was packed. Great place to hang out on a warm Florida night. It's pretty much a beach bar so don't wear your good clothes
