I'll try again next time, the fucking
Foreseeable? is racist! sophie? cafe is not a friendly place. I came with a party of 5 (all black and brown women from the state). there were several open tables outside; some who sit up to 4 and others who could accommodate 2-3 persons. When we went to the facility, sophie looked at us and said: no, I don't serve parties of 5? we wanted to share our party, as there were several open tables to accommodate parties of 2-3 persons. Sophie?s answer was very dismissed and rude. she just said, no, I don't. there is no doubt that my group was racist profiled and refused the service from no other reason than the color of our skin. she did not give a professional explanation of why she could not accommodate us. I would never recommend this place to everyone. tourist should never look for this place if they want to leave scottsdale with a good impression. scottsdale is a beautiful/amazing place with very friendly people, but unfortunately we stumbled on one of the bad apples.
Eating is delicious, a traditional French cuisine. I was here several times, from the crepes to the omelettes and croissants. sophie is also a charming owner and includes the French culture in its manierisms on calm and pleasant wise. I would highly recommend this place, as someone who has visited France and is familiar with the kitchen, also, do not miss on the coffee.
While I fleee from the state on a girl, my four friends and I decided to try sophie?s cafe on mother? day, since everything else was booked and we needed a place to eat before we return to the airport. the outside looked sweet and thought it was a great experience. we were greeted by sophie (we later discovered the owner) and we asked for a table of 5 and was said that she does not do as she goes away from us. we asked what she didn't do and then she asked if we could do spike tables (put them two to one and three to one) and she said she didn't. it was clear that our skin color played a factor in the preservation. sophie went away and went in, we were lost and confused about why we saw so many empty seats, but could not be severed at all. we go in to ask to speak to the manager and was told that sophie had the place. all the time we remain polite and informed them that it was?t good customer services and she wasn't interested in hearing and hearing us, discussing how they just lost business. I had an amazing time in az and it is sad my trip ended in their caffe rude service and never served or sitting. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here! worst experience I've ever had. I'm glad it was at the end of my trip and didn't begin because I really fell for az. I don't want to ruin a bad apple (here) what I think of az. I don't know how a place she's still standing. I wouldn't recommend giving her money.
We are visiting Scottsdale and wanted to try Sophie?s cafe as my daughter loves crepes. We walked up and saw an open table outside. As my daughter went to sit down an employee (assuming Sophie) came out and yelled at us. She said she was saving the table for a couple inside who had been waiting. Other diners stared as she was very rude. We said okay so we need to be seated rather than seat ourselves. She replied yes. So we went inside and stood there for 5+ minutes while we were ignored. Finally we left. Not a friendly place!
