My wife and I went there a few weeks ago after reading reviews about this placeWhat a huge mistake._ I ordered the fisherman's platter.

This is a little Casse-Croute off the beaten track in Nova Scotia.

Been eating here for many years and love most of their menu. My fav is the haddie bits and fries. My husband loves the Clams and fries because the clams are nice and small. If you order a burger, be specific on what you want on it. Portions are large, so bring your appetite. Or do like the rest of us do and take what you can't eat home.

We stopped off for food going from Annapolis Royal to Wolfville and really enjoyed our lunch. We all had the haddie bites and fries and have nothing at all to complain about (apart from the weather; we really wanted to be sitting out on the picnic tables but it was so wet we had to stay in the car). The staff were very friendly and the food was really tasty. We were glad we stopped off here today.

We stopped here on the way home from Annapolis Royal for a quick bite to eat and absolutely loved it. We had the Haddie bits, clams, French fries and salad. The batter wasn't too thick, was light with a little crunch and enjoyed by my 3 boys (5, 5 and 2). The portions were generous and the "bits" were just the right size for kids (a large order was enough to feed 3 hungry boys). The green salad was more like a chopped salad with lots of different fresh veggies on lettuce, which was far better than the bagged salad that I was expecting. Dressing selection was your typical diner options (Italian, French, ranch).It's more of a drive in diner. A large line up of locals is always a good sign of good food! Most of the locals drove in, ordered pick up and drove off. But for us travellers, there are a few picnic tables set up on some grass in behind.We finished off with soft and hard ice cream. The ice cream sizes were also very generous! Great food, great prices, great find!
