We enjoyed sitting at the kitchen counter watching the master chefs at work. Service was top notch. Definitely a must-go when we're in Vegas again!
Came here for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We each did the tasting menu options, the service was great they were very quick and kept everything moving very nicely. We would recommend it to anyone
One of the best culinary experiences you will ever have. Get ready for flavors that are perfectly balanced, rich, and yet not overpowering. One can't go wrong with any of the dishes, just order what you want and you wont be disappointed. I had one of the fixed priced menus with the snapper, morel mushrooms spaghetti, carrot-cumin soup, quail with foie, and the coconut tapioca for dessert. All just cooked to absolute perfection. The only improvement I would suggest would be to add a heavy velvet curtain at the entrance. The cigarette smell from the casino is really strong and it distracts from the overall experience. This is a special place and would be perfect for a celebration.
The dishes were absolutely delicious and vibrant! I enjoyed the baby oysters and the steak and Dover sole most! Dessert was exceptional wonderful display. Open kitchen concept where you sit at the bar instead of a table (a little different for fine dining but it has a unique charm)
We are regulars of l'atelier at their other locations in Miami and New York and have never been more disappointed in a dining experience. It was a birthday weekend and we opted for our usual tasting menu with wine pairing combination and was met with initially having to repetitively ask for the return of our bare necessities including utensils and napkins well after our food arrived. The dining room was 50% empty and we were passed around between 5 different servers with absolutely no consistency of experience and no ownership of our table so there was no actual wait staff ever checking in on us. Not only that, they handed a credit card machine to rush us and check ourselves out. The pacing of the courses was very off with more than 40 minutes ! between some. Despite that, most of the food was still served cold with the pigeon worst of all overcooked and dry the service had little urgency in rectifying any of our requests. Only the one dish of fish seemed to have been prepared well and appropriate to serve. Tucked inside the MGM Grand at Las Vegas behind the casino, tourists may have less expectations than those in Miami and New York. Honestly the whole experience felt wholly inappropriate for Joel Robuchon's namesake with the lack of attention to the food and service here. I'm not sure if we will give this location another chance. We were so disappointed with the experience to have found the time to write this review worthwhile.
