Old Chicago Pizza Taproom Papillion

We went to the weekend before and had an amazing time. eating was great and the server was great. we booked with open table and were ten minutes after arrival. this Friday went the 8th and made a reservation for 5:45. I made the reservation by 5. we have reached the retention and waited for 45 minutes before we have set ourselves. we did not sit until 6:40. our service was not consistent. eating was not as big as the time before. we all felt that we just didn't go there. Maybe we're not going back. I really hope it was a unique experience because the first time was so great.

Our server was great, very pleasant. Kitchen service was slow but we weren't in a hurry. Hostess was very poor at her job, told us we would be seated in a few minutes then told us it would be a while since their kitchen was behind. She needed additional training to be able to handle the front of resident on a busy Friday night.

Old Chicago typically has pretty good food and a wide selection of drinks. I was trying to finish the mini tasting tour but it was the last day and they were out of most of the beers so that was very disappointing. We had a group of 6 and the service was very good.

I set a reservation for 730 and once the time came, we had to wait for seating.... I feel it should have been set up and ready at 730 due to making a reservation.. What's the point of a reservation if we're kept waiting?

We visited on a Saturday evening so I knew they would be busy. We waited for over an hour for our food to come to our table. 2 of us had sandwiches that were cold and dried out like they had been sitting around while the rest of our party's food was prepared. It even took around 45 minutes for thr kids meal to be brought out which had also been clearly sitting around. Our server was very nice and attentive.
