Moran's Grill - Papillion

Tucked away in the basement of the American Legion in downtown Papillion is this hidden little gem. The menu has something for everyone and the food is cooked to order. Not the fanciest place you can dine, but it is good good at an affordable price

This little gem is hidden behind/under the VFW. Well worth the stop. Good food and friendly service. I will be a regular for sure.

I wanted to like this place, I'm all about supporting local business. For starters, we placed a to-go order and the hostess over the phone was impatient and slightly rude. We ordered three cheeseburgers with fries, and an order of fried pickle spears. Each burger was requested with different toppings, they all came plain, just meat and cheese. The burgers also had a very distinct propane and burnt taste. We had hopes for the fried pickles. The breading was falling off and the pickles were dry. My husband, who loves fried pickles, could barely stomach one. Unfortunately, Iwould not recommend this restaurant and will probably not return.

A bar/grill operating out of the American Legion bar and hall. They serve up standard bar/grill food (burgers, wings, wraps) and some dinner entrees as well (steaks, pasta, salads). I stopped in for a weekday lunch and tried their BBQ, Sautéed Onion Cheddar Burger. (I 'll forgive their failure to use an Oxford comma. lol) Burger was juicy and tasty. I upgraded to the onion rings which were just okay for me (theirs were breaded and I prefer battered). Service was friendly and attentive. One guy was sort of taking care of it all and seemed to be keeping up with it just fine. If you 're in Papillion at mealtime then check this place out. There 's certainly no shortage of bar/grills in downtown Papillion but I think Moran 's stands out.

I just wanted to add to my last review. You have GOT to try this salad! Yum!
